but then,
each time
i search for words
i find your name
between
creases and folds


you are words
turning into poetry
thoughts
into daydreams,
remembering into
gasping

and each time my
pen traces the lines of this
paper,
the strokes of each letter,
i feel my hand touching
your skin
pale as the moonlight,
the curve of your nose,
the length of your hair

this pen
your fingertips

you are in each line
dancing in each stanza
you are letters forming words,
into phrases
into longing



into

oblivion
i have never

imagined
