walang basagan ng trip 2

so eto na yung yung 2nd  installment ng kapekpekan ko 4 years ago. graduation nga pala ng kaptid ko nung nagawa ko to. kasalukuyang naghihikaahos ang dyaryo sa kawalan ng pondo. ako naman, naghihikahos ang lovelife. tse!

ang salitang "nape" noon para sakin ay napaka poetic. ngayon, parang nangmamanyak lang.

this morning

when i took the longest
bath
i scrubbed every known skin on
naked body.
my sole.
my fngers.
my nape.


i tried
as much as i could
to wash the littlest mark
you have left on my skin.

i showered
the thoughts that already
became one with me.

your voice on my ears.
your name on my lips.
your cheeks on my palm.

everything that had in contact
with you
i let it all flow down
to
the open drain of


forgetting.


i drowned you
with water and soap
but still i see you wandering  everywhere

you exixt where i exist
you breathe on my lungs
you nap on my skin

this morning when i took the longest bath.

i failed


to take you


off.
